Week 34

As I have been thinking about the blessings the Lord has been giving us continually, and looking back, I'm so grateful for this journey we are a part of! Onward ever onward!

Week 33

We are back in Summerville! We were able to check on people and everyone is doing okay. No real damage or loss happened here in Charleston aside from some flooding.

Week 32

The Hurricane (Matthew) is coming quick and is starting to brew bigger. We went around seeing if anyone was in need of help for the Hurricane! They called an evacuation for tomorrow at 3 for all the residents in Charleston.

Week 31

General Conference

We have been greatly edified by General Conference. It is a Missionary’s dream conference haha! The Spirit has been so strong in the direction and work that we can organize ourselves with, in working with the members, and uplifting them in this a great work in this dispensation. I'm greatly lifted and an excitement unlike I've ever experienced before comes over me while listening. I'm so grateful that we are able to listen to modern day revelation from a Prophet and Apostles and servants called by our Lord. One of my Favorite Quotes Written Down in my Notes from Conference: Lynn G. Robbins, "The way you see a Child, is the Way you treat them, and the way you treat them, is the way they'll become" (see 3 Nephi Christ opens the Mouth of the Children)

That, I Know is true for everyone of us. That is the Key to loving someone as Christ does!

Week 29

I’m grateful for this opportunity to serve and uplift others. I know the Lord knows my best efforts and I’m grateful for the guidance and love I continually receive from him during this time.  I know that is the key, by just doing the best we can, the Lord will cover the rest. I love being here!

Week 28

I love the things that we have been called to do, and I am so grateful for the ability to do it through the Lord’s guidance and His peace always making it possible.
